Michigan Retailers Association Names Pamela M. Sossi, Esq. “Friend of Retail”
Detroit – The Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) joined the list of organizations backing Pamela Sossi for State Representative in the 1st District on Tuesday. The MRA named Pamela a “Friend of Retail,” in recognition of her “understanding of retailers priorities and a willingness to work towards solutions.” The MRA represents over 15,000 stores throughout Michigan.
“Bringing jobs back to District 1 should be the priority of any legislator representing this area,” Sossi said. “Retail makes up almost a quarter of Michigan’s economy and employs over 850,000 people statewide. I look forward to working with the Retailers to bring quality jobs back to the District.”
The 1st District includes the cities of Harper Woods and Grosse Pointe Woods as well as portions of Detroit and Grosse Pointe Shores. The Primary Election is August 2.
